Court Day: Speeding & Sex

Estoy con mucho coraje por que ayer escribí y escribí y se me olvidó darle post y cuando se me ocurre mirar mi blog, todo lo que escribí había desaparecido... mi post tan lindo sobre Court Day: Speeding & Sex

Hasta me había esforzado porque fuera todo en ingles. Bueno basta de lamentaciones aquí voy de nuevo.

#1 THE SPEEDING PART:

So yesterday I had to present myself at court because of a speeding citation. I was making an effort to write the whole post in english because I was going to be using my english to get me out of the speeding ticket/citation, but I'm re-wrting it today, writing more or less the same as yesterday so I'll jump between languages.

If you are not a juvie with a nice full record, a lawyer or a police officer, I'm sure you will feel like me. Very nervous and anxious to be at a court house and present yourself in front of a judge. First I came in and the court house is full of people in the hallways and everywhere. This is not a big court its just a small town one, so I guess a lot of people know each other y los re-incidentes ya se saben las curvas del unico pasillo aquí.

Estaba este policía viejo verde bien salamero en la entrada. Yo como estaba perdida tuve que pedirle direcciones y el aprovecha a tratarme como su vieja amiga....He puts his arm around my back like he knows me since forever and says: Honey, Were you speeding? And I said: Yes and then he said: You're suppose to say NO I wasn't. Bla bla bla

So once I'm in the waiting area you listen to all kinds of stories, so I'll tell you guys about one today.

Estaba esta señora que se veia de 75 años mas o menos, explicando los veinte revoluces que tenia. First she tried to start a taxi company a couple of years ago and her son crashed 2 cars which she completely lost and she couldn't afford to fix. After that she said that her daughter owes her thousand of dollars, which she takes promising she will give them back, and never does. On top of all that someone stole her taxi company license and bought 17 vehicles for which they never paid taxes and now she has all kinds of issues because of all of this, including going to different courts and police stations all around the state to fix this big issue plus lots and lots of fine and charges because of the years of unpaid taxes. Pobre vieja pasando tantos mal sabores a la edad que tiene, mas con dos hijos buenos para nada, no se le ve buen futuro a la situación.
